do you think of me when you... ?

Kid Teung Chun Mai Way Lah Tee Ter - Taxi

kit teung chun mai wae-laa tee ter...
do you miss me when you...

kit teung chun mai wae-laa tee ter mai jer jer gun gup chun
Do you miss me when we don't meet?

kit teung chun mai wae-laa tee ter ngao-jai
Do you miss me when you're lonely?

Do you miss me when there's no one to argue with?

bai nai laew mai mee lai hai goh laew ter kit teung krai
When you go out somewhere with no
sholder to cling to. Who do you miss?

faa rong took krung mun song siang dung ter dot maa nung dtuk chun
Everytime it thundered loudly, you would jump in my lap.

chun gor too ret dtua eng muean gun tee blop bai kum bai
I feel bad that I was cheered up and amused by that.

chun roo waa chun mai ao nai ler-ee mai ob oon dai yaang nun
I know that I'm no good. I'm not warm like that.

faa rong krung nee mai jer naa gun laew ter kit teung krai
This time when it thundered, I didn't see you. Who do you miss?

hey meua rao dtong haang ying nern naan art leum gun ler-ee mai nae jai
Hey... when we are far away for a very long time, I'm not sure, but we may forget each other.

dtob noi dai mai dtob chun noi waa ter kit teung gun
Could you please answer me that you miss me

mai dtong waan dtong waew rok yaak taam kae hai ter
You don't have to be sweet. I just want to ask you...

dtob noi dai mai dtob chun gon waa ter kit teung chun
Can you answer me? Answer me first, that you miss me.

yaang tee chun mun kit teung koi ter glub maa
Just like I miss you, and wait for you to return.

prow chun kit teung ter yoo took wun dtung dtae dteun norn dtae chao
Because I miss you everyday. From the moment I wake up in the morning.

hun hua gor hun bai jer roob rao bon hua norn
I turn to look at the picture of us on the head of the bed.

siang wit-ta-yoo gor koi len pleng tee ter chawp fung gee krung
The radio continuously plays songs that you loved to listen to time and time again.

teung chun mai chawp gor yung nung fung prow mun kit teung ter
Though I don't like the songs, I listen to them because I miss you.

hey meua rao dtong haang ying nern naan art leum gun ler-ee mai nae jai
Hey... when we are far away for a very long time, I'm not sure, but we may forget each other.

dtob noi dai mai dtob chun noi waa ter kit teung gun
Could you please answer me that you miss me.

mai dtong waan dtong waew rok yaak taam kae hai ter
You don't have to be sweet. I just want to ask you...

dtob noi dai mai dtob chun gon waa ter kit teung chun
Can you answer me? Answer me first, that you miss me.

yaang tee chun mun kit teung koi ter glub maa
Just like I miss you, and wait for you to return.

hey meua rao dtong haang ying nern naan art leum gun ler-ee mai nae jai
Hey... when we are far away for a very long time, I'm not sure, but we may forget each other.

dtob noi dai mai dtob chun noi waa ter kit teung gun
Could you please answer me that you miss me.

mai dtong waan dtong waew rok yaak taam kae hai ter
You don't have to be sweet. I just want to ask you...

dtob noi dai mai dtob chun gon waa ter kit teung chun
Can you answer me? Answer me first, that you miss me.

yaang tee chun mun kit teung koi ter glub maa
Just like I miss you, and wait for you to return.

koi ter glub maa gor mun kit teung ter
I wait for you to return. I miss you.

Alone ...

Dieow : by Udom Taepanich

mi sieng hua ror...mi tang roy yim...tang yae lae kong kwan...
mi chan mi thur mi khao tuk mong yam
man lom shivit hai klao hai kruen hai kuek hai krom kram
tae chan yang tham tua eng tuk ti
man ngaw..man ngoi..bang mai ma chai shivit kae lam pang
ma fang tua eng yang ni
tang tang ti saeng ti si lae siang satan duay dontri
tae chan man du...dieow dai

(chorus)
tae mi ik khon ti pen puen kan
tuk tuk wan yang koy fao tam chan ma
dai pood dai kui kod kor muen duem
muen ma tuem tua ton ...ti rao koey pen
puen khon ni mai mi krai hen
proh khao kue "kwam ngieb ngam"

ja fan ja fung ja foy ja ruk ja toy kor khon dieow
ja lieow ja len ja rien mai mi krai
ja khien ja khid ja khruan ja re ja ruan kor tam pai
mai mi khon nai ma shud ma dueng
tang non kor saeng tan nan kor si ik ki si
shivit bang ti ja khad pueng
ja han ja he pai nai
mai hen sak hon sak haeng nueng
ti khao khao jai rao por
(chorus)

*translation*

there're sounds of laughing..there're also many smiles ...and the gifts.

there's me, there's you, there's him every time

that makes the life fun and noisy

but I always ask myself

is that lonely...to be alone..

burried myself like this..

although there's light , there's color, there's sound ...with the music

but I still be alone...

(chorus)
but there's another one that's my friend..

everyday he follows me

when I'm alone, he'll come , greeting me ..not be absent
to speak , to talk , to hug my shoulder like always

like full fill my self I used to be..

this friend ..nobody sees ...because he's "the silence"

to dream , to be crazy , to chat, to press , to move ...I'm alone

to look , to play , to learn ...nobody

to write, to think, to cry , to waver ...do them!

no body to stop me..

that's the light , that's many colors

the lifes might be break down..

to look, to see any places

I've seen nowhere...

there's understand me enough.

......................
this's the lyrics ..and the translation ^ ^U
hmm...sorry for my translate language hahaha
I know that's a bit weird ^ ^U

(from http://rabbiscuit.livejournal.com/)

LANGUAGE : Thai usage part 2

^ ^ ...hmm continue

for the combined vowels(sa ra pa som) like ...

- อัวะ : ua ..short sound (mixed from u (อุ) + ah(อะ) ) --- no ending
- อัว : ua ...longsound ( mixed from uu (อู) + aa(อา) ) when it has ending ..it will become to "อว(ending)"
see! the 9 over อ is lost
Ex. กวน (guan) , นวน (nuan) , สวม (suam)

- เอือะ : uea ..shortsound ( mixed from ue shortsound (อึ) + ah(อะ) ) --- no ending
- เอือ : uea ..longsound ( mixed from ue longsound (อื) + aa(อา) ) the endings are puting behind the last อ
Ex.

- เอียะ : iea ..shortsound (mixed from i (อิ) + ah(อะ) ) ---no ending
- เอีย : iea ... longsound (mixed from ie(อี) + aa(อา) ) the endings are puting behind ย
Ex.

....these are combined vowels...

and there're some thai vowel that Special ...they have the ending itself ..

like...

- อำ : am ( mixed from ah( อะ )+ M( ม) ) this vowel has the ending itself is..M .... so it has no another ending more than "Mor ma: ม "
Ex. จำ ( jam) , รำ ( ram ), คำ ( kham )

** but but but but!!!! ...this vowel can be write in the other form is ..." อัม " like when you put the Ending "M" ม on the wowel "Ah" อะ ..so the อะ will turn to " อั(ม)" ..for this ...it depends on the words , some words use อำ but some words use อัม
Ex... กัม ( kham) , ยัม (yam), ธัม ( tham)...

- ไอ / ใอ : ay ( aa(อา) + y (ย) ) there're two forms of ay ( for Thinglish can use ai instead if you want )
1. is ไอ ...it's called ..Ay "mai ma lai" ไอ ไม้มลาย like ไป(pai) ไท(tai) ไห(hai)
2. is ใอ ...called ay"mai muan" ใอ ไม้ม้วน
there's something to remember how to use these two forms of ay in this verse ..

useage for ใอ ay"mai muan" ...there're only 20 words that us ใอ

จะใคร่ ลงเรือใบ แลน้ำใส และปลาปู (jakrai long rueabai lae namsai lae pla pu )

these 20 words that use ay mai muan are
ใหญ่ yai : big ..(pooyai means adult)
ใหม่ mai : new
ให้ hai : to give
สะใภ้ sapai : daughter in law
ใช้ chai : to use
ใฝ่ fai : aim, expect, hope for, desire
ใจ jai : heart
ใส่ sai : put
หลงใหล long lai : crazy for, fascinating
ใคร krai : who
ใคร่ krai : want,sensuality
ใบ bai : the thing that flated shape( ..like the leaf called ..baimai)
ใส sai : clear , limpid
ใด dai : which (one), what (reason); any (-body, -one, -thing)
ใน nai : in
ใช่ chai : yes
ใต้ tai : under
ใบ้ bai : dumb, people wo can't speak or hear
ใย yai : senew, fiber, thread
ใกล้ glai : near

out off these words ..are all use ไอ
** and for some words in Thai ..are using ไอ+ ย ...like ไทย ไอย ไสย... etc. but not so much.
------

- เอา : aw ( mixed from aa (อา) + w (ว) ) hmm.. can be write as "ao" or "aw"
like ...เรา(rao) เต่า(tao) เมา(mao)

........................................
................^ ^.................................................................................

ah..that's it ^ ^U hmm. you maybe confuse about pronoucing because the combined vowels are pronouced a bit difficlut ..I'll talk to you later if I have microphone ^ ^ haha

(from http://rabbiscuit.livejournal.com/)

LANGUAGE : Thai usage part 1

To Fernando

hmm ...I'll tell you about the endings of Thai words by the Vowels

อะ (ah) ...has short sound ...this 99 symbol you couldn't put the endings

like นะ คะ จะ ...you coun't put the ending.... and ....if you want to put the ending on อะ

it will be ....

you maybe can see the character without vowel put along in someword...you have to pronouse

"ah" on it like - จันทนา ..will be pronouce like จัน-ทะ-นา ( jan - ta - na)

- สระ .... will be pronouse like .... สะ - ระ ( sa - ra )

- สวัสดี ... sa wad dee ^ ^

but but but but ..beware! about "Kam Kwuaap Glam: คำ ควบกล้ำ" (a word with a syllable that has a double-initial consonant)

there's 2 kinds of kam kwaap glam ...1.real KKG 2.unreal KKG

1. the real has "ร ล ว" behind the first chars ...like กราน is Kran not ka-ran ^ ^

ปลิบ is Plib not pa - lib , ความ is Kwam not ka - wam

2. for the unreal ...has 2 situation ...

one,when จ ซ ศ ส mix with ร ...it won't have ร sound.... like ..

จริง ...is jing not jring ไซร้ .... is Sai not Srai สร้าง....is Sang not Srang

and also my name นะมะศรี ...pronouce Na - ma -si not na ma sri ...(but for we usually spell ศรี in English alphabet as Sri ..but ...remember....the pronouse is Si

*** but except on the word สระ can read in two ways... sara and sa

so they has different meanings ...sara means the vowels ...and sa means the pool

(Ps. in ไซร้ and สร้าง have the tonal accent you see? ..that's not vowel it's tonal accent ...in English don't habe tonal accents so ..in Thinglish we don't write the tonal accents on it ) XD

2. with Sara "OH " short sound ...โ-ะ (hey hey ..it's not โ "O" long sound ..the โ with ะ it will be "oh"..short sound ^ ^ )

like โอะ - oh ....โนะ - no ...โกะ - ko ( they are short sounds)

and ..when the โอะ has endings...the โ and the ะ will be disappear ^ ^U

like ...rok is รก ....nom is นม .....non is นน

ps . it's looked so familiar with " the character without vowel along the word" isn't it? ...means ..that's depends on the meaning of that word ^ ^U ..you have to remember them...hmm

like ..นม always read NOM but ..if it's the old word in the verse or some name it maybe read as ...na-ma too

but ...don't worry about it ...because nana raka nana etc. are usually found in the old language in the verses..so ..when you see that form of words ..it usually be spell like "oh" ^ ^

hmmmm...hope you can understand it ^ ^U

I'll summarize the another Thai usages to you again next time ^ ^

...rak maak maak!

Namo
